Then you need to be a good salesman. It's mainly persuading people to do something they might feel reluctant to do. And any sales experience like that would look good on your resume. But if you want to be a trader or an investment manager making investment decisions for the company and for its clients. Then you need to have some kind of a successful trading record. If you can trade with your own money and consistently make profits every year. Then this would certainly look good on your resume.
